The materials needed for the accessories include a paper plate, a cardboard tube, brushes, scissors, adhesive gems, regular acrylic paints, and metallic paints such as gold and bronze. Acrylic paints can also be replaced with tempera paints.

First, let’s create the collar: cut the paper plate by removing most of the inner part and a small outer edge. Paint the plate base with bronze acrylic paint. Then decorate it by painting the inner edge gold and using green, blue, and red to imitate precious gems. Simply make rectangular brush strokes, alternating colors.

To make the bracelet, cut a cardboard tube. A toilet paper roll works perfectly because of its short length, but you can also use a kitchen roll—just shorten it. Trim the cardboard tube to form a bracelet, shaping the end into a rounded point to resemble a snake’s head. Paint it with bronze acrylic paint, and once it’s dry, stick on the adhesive gems. If you don’t have metallic paints, you can glue golden paper pieces onto the plate, cut from magazines or even kitchen aluminum foil.

Dress your child in the tunic and then add the accessories for the perfect Pharaoh look!

Other Carnival Ideas

If you enjoyed this craft, you’ll find many more here: https://www.paneamoreecreativita.it/blog/category/bambini/lavoretti/lavoretti-di-carnevale/

I absolutely love costumes inspired by ancient civilizations!
